Where to submit your manuscript
32 publishers, their editorial interests, submission methods and official instructions. Find a suitable destination before preparing your submission.
How this page is made
Submission details, genres and author examples come from the publishers’ own websites. Each entry links to its sources and records the date checked. Submission windows can change: check the official page before sending.
Find an editorial fit
These labels describe the submission requirements. Direct submission means no agent is required for the route described. A small press can be highly selective; without published acceptance figures, editorial difficulty cannot be reliably rated.

Prepare a dossier for each publisher
- Read the current catalogue and submission page. Check whether your genre, language and manuscript length fit.
- Prepare exactly what is requested: a query, synopsis, sample chapters or complete manuscript. These requirements differ across publishers.
- Use the requested channel and file format. Check whether unsolicited or simultaneous submissions are allowed.
- Keep a record of the version, date and recipient. Follow up only as described in the publisher’s instructions.
Check the instructions before submitting
Inclusion only means an official submission page was available to verify. Some publishers restrict genres, accept only queries or temporarily suspend submissions. The linked page takes precedence over this dated summary. Do not send the same package to every publisher.
Your turn to write.
