Anadiplosis
Repetition of the final word of one clause at the beginning of the next.
Anadiplosis repeats a word or phrase from the end of one clause at the start of the next. The link may suggest consequence, persistence or a thought taking a new direction.
Successive repetitions can build a chain of ideas. Each link gains force when it develops what came before, allowing the repeated word to carry the argument forward.

He asked for silence. Silence was all the house could offer.
