Judge my writing
Paste an excerpt from your novel or short story. Twelve gauges score it out of 100, and you see the sentences that pull the lowest one down.
Free, no account. Extypis does not keep your text.
What the twelve gauges measure
A score, then sentences. Each gauge runs from 0 to 100. Under 55 it turns orange. For the lowest one, the tool highlights the sentences in your text that weighed most, so you know where to start.
One gauge apart: “Reads like AI”. It estimates how much your style resembles text produced by an AI, and reads the other way round: the lower, the better. It is an estimate, not proof. To show that you typed a text yourself, Extypis issues a human-origin certificate.
What the tool does not do. It rewrites nothing and does not replace a reader. It tells you where to look.
Everything our writing app puts in your hands
Five areas, from the first outline to the file ready to send: everything you ask of a writing app. Here is what each one covers.
Hold your story, from outline to final page.
Narrative tools you won't find elsewhere — turn a tangle of ideas into a structure that holds.
Daily writing comfort
Everything that makes long-form writing sustainable: shortcuts, templates, anchored notes, versions, goals.
The AI reads your project before it suggests anything
Outline, profiles and the scenes you have written: the AI uses them to stay true to your book when it rewrites, continues, summarises or draws a cover. Every suggestion waits for your approval.
Analyse and refine your prose
Proofreading, readability, repetitions, connectives, passive voice, emotions and versification: each flagged passage comes with its reason and is one click away in the text.
What you write is what you export.
Your text is laid out as you type, in the format of your PDF. All that is left is to pick the file format, or to publish on Extypis.
