What we look at in a thriller scene
Pace is decided sentence by sentence. A chase written in long subordinate clauses slows down what it describes. The “Pace” and “Sentence variety” gauges show it, and the “Clarity” gauge checks that the reader still follows who does what.
How to read the result. A score under 55 turns orange. For the lowest one, the tool highlights the sentences that weighed most. The “Reads like AI” gauge reads the other way round: the lower it is, the more personal your style. It is an estimate, not proof.
Everything our writing app puts in your hands
Five areas, from the first outline to the file ready to send: everything you ask of a writing app. Here is what each one covers.
Hold your story, from outline to final page.
Narrative tools you won't find elsewhere — turn a tangle of ideas into a structure that holds.
Daily writing comfort
Everything that makes long-form writing sustainable: shortcuts, templates, anchored notes, versions, goals.
The AI reads your project before it suggests anything
Outline, profiles and the scenes you have written: the AI uses them to stay true to your book when it rewrites, continues, summarises or draws a cover. Every suggestion waits for your approval.
Analyse and refine your prose
Proofreading, readability, repetitions, connectives, passive voice, emotions and versification: each flagged passage comes with its reason and is one click away in the text.
What you write is what you export.
Your text is laid out as you type, in the format of your PDF. All that is left is to pick the file format, or to publish on Extypis.
